Keith Lowry – Business Development Representative (San Diego office)
After a career starting as an officer in the U.S. Army flying helicopters and then ending as an airline captain with American Eagle I decided that it was time to reprioritize and move back home to San Diego to spend more time with family and friends. My transition from such a specific set of skills hasn’t been easy but the experience and the people at Web Manuals have been great and have made it a true blessing. Now that bootcamp is over, I am looking forward to what the future holds and excited to really get to work!
When I am not in the office, I will likely be surfing, snowboarding, fishing, camping, hiking or doing some other outdoor activity.
Mailén Sanchez Alleno – Academy Associate (Malmö office)
Hola! I’m honored and excited to be taking this career leap by joining Web Manuals. I come from Jose Mármol, a small town in the suburbs of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I graduated in fashion design at a very young age, which gave me time to rethink my path and start my travels through Europe. During these years, I gained extensive experience in customer service, especially here in Sweden, where I’ve lived for 4 years. I’m passionate about learning languages and crafts, which also allows me to learn about different cultures. Now I’m happy to combine my different skills for my role as Academy Associate and get to know wonderful people around the world.
Amer Harb – Senior Developer (Malmö office)
Salam! I’m 44 years old, married with 4 years old son, I was born and grew up in Damascus, lived in Dubai for 6 years before moving to Sweden in 2011 (men tyvärr, jag talar inte svenska) moved to Malmö in 2014 which is the longest city I have lived in continuously. I live now in Västra Hamnen 700 m from Office 🙂
I’ve been doing coding since 1992, so except for punch cards I’ve seen it all 💾 💽
I love to travel and try different foods. My goal is “50 before 50” basically to visit 50 countries before I reach 50. So far I have been to 36 countries, 122 cities, 46 airports 34 airlines.
Victor Glückman – Academy Associate (Malmö office)
I’m from the small town of Skanör just 30 minutes south of Malmö that I exchanged for the big city life in Berlin for almost five years before coming back to Malmö to study political science at Lund University. I have a vast interest in music and food and in my free time I try to spend as much time possible with my lovely friends.
I have extensive experience in customer service in a variety of products as well as product and process development and analysis within both the private and public sector. I have always been driven by knowledge sharing and communication and when I came across the opportunity of joining the Academy at Web Manuals I was excited by the potential to make great use of my experiences and interests as well as exploring and learning more about a new industry to me!
Genevieve Low – Customer Success Associate (Singapore office)
Hej då! Over the past decade, I have dedicated myself to the field of mental health, working closely with a diverse range of individuals facing both mental and physical challenges. Formerly a therapist, I was captivated by the intricacies of the human mind. However, I’ve since transitioned to a role in customer success, leaving behind the therapist’s couch. While I may not possess mind-reading abilities – though wouldn’t that be so cool? – I now create symbiotic relationships where both customers and the business achieve success together, even if it means navigating without psychic powers. Prior to joining the Web Manuals crew, I ventured into the sustainability SaaS sphere, working in partnerships to advance decarbonisation initiatives. And when I’m not in the office, you’ll likely find me reveling in the delightful chaos of cuddling with my cat – because, let’s face it, being a devoted pawrent to a mischievous furball is a full-time job in itself!
Mikaela Lidquist – Software Tester (Malmö office)
I’m a former graphic designer turned software tester. After 10+ years of dabbling with both print and web design, I needed a new challenge which led me to pursue an education in software testing. After almost 2 years of studies, I’m happy to join Web Manuals.
When I’m not at the office hunting for bugs you’ll probably find me at home playing video games, listening to music, or reading (or being trampled by my cats). If I’m not at home I’m most likely somewhere along Skåneleden (a hiking trail in the south of Sweden) or at the local movie theatre.
I’m excited to join forces with the development team and expand the quality assurance efforts at Web Manuals to continue to build a high-quality product.
