Web Manuals, the world leader in digital documentation for the aviation industry, is opening a new Australian entity in Sydney, in response to the significant growth of its business in APAC, where it has increased its customer base by more than 60% in 2023.
This will be the second APAC location for the company and will be overseen by Web Manuals’ APAC office in Singapore which opened in 2021.
Web Manuals won 27 new customers in APAC in 2023, bringing it to a total of 55 across the region, including airlines, helicopter, mission/medical, cargo and business jet operators. With the most recent additions of Australia-based Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service – which delivers aeromedical search, rescue and inter-hospital transfers for 1.5 million people – Web Manuals’ global client base now exceeds 600 organizations.
Emil Ahlgren, director of operations, APAC, Web Manuals says: “The opening of our Australian office marks a milestone in our expansion across APAC as we respond to the region’s growing appetite for digitalization, automation, and innovation, as well as an evolving regulatory landscape.”
“Launching the regional entity will enable us to further expand our services to customers based in Australia, New Zealand and the rest of The Pacific. We look forward to being closer to our existing customers, strengthening partnerships and welcoming many more operators to the rapidly growing Web Manuals community . It is an exciting part of the journey to support customers walking the digital path towards automation and innovation in the field of aviation documentation and compliance.”
Web Manuals is headquartered in Malmo, Sweden, and its new base in Sydney will be joining the already established global offices in New York, San Diego, and Singapore.
