Fredrik Karlsson – General Counsel
Fredrik was born and raised in Bjärred, a small town near Malmö, Sweden. In 2009 he moved north to study law at the School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg and received his Master of Law degree in 2014. Following graduation, and with the main ambition to combine his legal knowledge with business life, Fredrik decided to pursue a career as an in-house counsel and has since held various roles within financial and professional services, real estate, the fitness industry and international businesses. Today, Fredrik lives in Lomma, a small town near Malmö, with his wife and 1,5 year old son and Fredrik is very excited to have joined Web Manuals and with the opportunity to adapt his legal knowledge to Web Manuals expanding business and the aviation industry. Besides family and work, Fredrik enjoys a broad range of sports, with his main passion being golf and he has spent countless hours on the course since his early years when his Grandpa in the US introduced him to the game.
Elsa Pengu – Customer Support Representative
Elsa was born in Albania and moved to one of the most beautiful islands of Greece when she was 10. After graduating from high school she wanted to explore Europe and she decided to move to Germany, where she worked and studied for 8 months. In 2019 she moved to Sweden to pursue her bachelor’s in International Business. While she was studying she was also working as a manager at a restaurant in Lund. She heard about Web Manuals from a friend and after a quick search about the company she was determined to join the team. She is very excited to be part of Web Manuals and she is looking forward to developing her skills and knowledge in the aviation industry.
Shannon Chia – Executive Assistant
Shannon was born and raised on a little sunny island called Singapore. She majored in Business in Marketing at Royal Holloway, University of London and went to Korea for summer school to take on a course in psychology at Yonsei University.. She believes in continuous learning and is currently taking on a course in Data Science and Business Analytics.
Growing up being very exposed to the Aviation Industry with relatives working for Aviation solutions companies and airlines, Shannon is passionate and excited about contributing to the same industry she heard so much about growing up. After starting her career with Web Manuals, it has been really fulfilling to experience the world she has always heard of and dreamt about. Outside of work, Shannon enjoys reading, visiting cafes and traveling. The love of her life and favorite person is her nephew.
Rakhveer Singh – Business Development Representative
Rakhveer was born and raised in Singapore. He studied Electronics Engineering as well as Banking and Finance. He worked full time at Morgan Stanley Investment Bank as well as studied full time in Curtin University. He used to work at night and study in the mornings. His passion for aviation came through regular travels and sparked a desire to work within the aviation industry. He loves to play sports, especially football and his favorite team is Arsenal.
He is very excited to have the opportunity to join Web Manuals which allows him to work with an amazing team who have come from many different backgrounds as well as the opportunity to travel!
Santiago Mesa – Sales Executive
Santiago is originally from Medellin, Colombia. He studied a Bachelor’s in Aeronautical Engineering and a Master’s degree in Wind Energy. He has worked with aviation companies since he graduated back in 2010, helping them ensure their Airworthiness. 5 years ago he moved to Sweden and decided to settle down in the north. During his free time you can find him at the gym or reading books about behavioral science.
He is a very energetic and enthusiastic person that is joining Web Manuals for second time after working in the Wind Industry for 2 years, speaks fluently 4 languages (Swedish, English, Spanish and Portuguese) and is always available for helping friends and family.
Trinh Le – Employee Experience Generalist
Trinh comes from Hue, Vietnam and moved to Singapore for her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology at National University of Singapore. After graduation, she had several years of working experience in recruitment, employer branding, employee engagement, etc. in Singapore. Currently, she is pursuing her Master’s Degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation at Lund University to learn something new and to explore a new country.
She is very excited to join Web Manuals to broaden her experience and work with the amazing and fun team here. Outside of work, Trinh enjoys spending time in nature such as hiking, running and cycling. Cooking is also her hobby as it allows her to experiment with different recipes and share good meals with her loved ones.
Corrine Girard – Customer Support Representative
Corrine was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area in Northern California. In 2016, she moved to Prescott, AZ to attend Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, where she completed her Bachelor’s degree in Air Traffic Management. After completing her undergraduate degree, Corrine completed her Master’s in Aviation and Aerospace Sustainability from Embry-Riddle’s Worldwide campus, and is currently enrolled in a Ph.D. in Aviation program at Embry-Riddle’s Daytona Beach campus. While her passion in aviation hasn’t always been flight, Corrine is now pursuing her PPL(H) and is excited to explore the flight side of the industry. In her free time, Corrine enjoys being active and spending time outside, whether that is hiking, paddle boarding, camping, or anything in between. Outside of work and school, you can find Corrine reading, baking, or running (she ran the Honolulu marathon in December 2022 and is training for more races in late 2023!) She is excited to join the Web Manuals Team and cannot wait for the new adventures to come.
Simay Cakmak – Customer Success Associate
Simay was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey. She moved to the capital city, Ankara, to pursue her bachelor’s in international relations were the heart of diplomacy and international relations. Later to expand her knowledge and feed her passion in business, she moved to Sweden to study her master’s in Management in Lund University School of Economics and Management. She was always curious about aviation since there were flight engineers, pilots and cabin crews in her family. She also likes to travel and discover new culture as well as meeting new people. She is really excited to expand her knowledge within aviation industry in a SaaS company and grow with Web Manuals!
Amanda Nilsson – Product Content Associate
Amanda was born and raised in the lovely capital, Stockholm. At the age of 16 she moved to New York with her family where she finished High School. Throughout her time there she volunteered at the Swedish School of both Connecticut and New York as a Teacher’s Assistant. After four years in the US, she decided to move back to Sweden to get her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration at Lund University: School of Economics and Management. Besides school, Amanda loves traveling and spending time with her friends. She also enjoys walking around new cities, exploring, especially in the summer.
Amanda is very excited to join the Web Manuals team as a part-time Product Content Associate while finishing her studies.
Ann Magdoza – Customer Support Representative
Ann was born in Cebu, Philippines and moved to Singapore with her family at the age of 5 and have been living here ever since. First exposure to aviation/airlines was when she first caught her eye at a flight stewardess at a very young age admiring them and she knew there and then she wanted to be like them or be in a similar environment.
She pursued a college Diploma in Travel, Tourism and Hospitality Management and landed her first full time job at the airport premier lounge for 5 years and she then decided to further pursue her studies and majored in Bachelor of Arts in Festival and Events Management with Edinburgh Napier University.
She’s always been passionate and motivated in the Customer Experience line with a demonstrated history of working in various industries from front to back end in the Airlines, Travel, Technology and Online Advertising Client Services.
Outside of work besides a social life and trying to stay physically active like quick workouts / yoga / brisk walking, she enjoys spending time with her cats and her senior dog (such a devoted pet mom). She loves travelling, especially winter season (because Singapore is always summer) and she’s stoked she gets to do this in Web Manuals!
