Web Manuals Inc. is celebrating its first US client in a deal to provide document management solutions to New York-based air taxi operator Hopscotch Air.
From this November, Hopscotch Air will use Web Manuals’ technology for tasks including compliance monitoring and the authoring and electronic distribution, throughout the company’s pilots and staff, of operations manuals and operations specifications.
Hopscotch Air operates air taxi services with a fleet of Cirrus SR22 aircraft, serving the north-east and mid-Atlantic US, southern California, Ontario and Quebec.
Andrew Schmertz, president and CEO of Hopscotch Air, says: “Right now, as we expand our operations, maintaining an efficient business model is more important than ever before. Working with Web Manuals will bring us major savings in time and administrative costs, as well as significantly improving our regulatory compliance processes. Adopting the latest technology throughout our operations is part of our commitment to maintaining the highest levels of safety, communication and efficiency.”
Martin Lidgard, CEO and co-founder of Web Manuals, adds: “We’re delighted to be playing our part in the growth of Hopscotch Air. Our service will help simplify the rapid authoring, review, publishing, distribution and control of the company’s entire manuals library.
“The Web Manuals family just keeps growing and we’re sure Hopscotch Air will be the first of many US customers. There are over 1,100 business jet operators in the US, all facing challenging compliance and document management issues that need to be rapidly addressed. Web Manuals Inc. provides the perfect solution. Our goal is to have 200 US customers by 2017.”
