Want to stay up to date with the Product team and know how we spent the summer? This is where it happens! Read on to see what has been done and what we are working on currently.

With Q3 coming to a close we released our much anticipated Summer Release, the result of two months of hard work from our developers. The Summer Release included 85 improvements and bug fixes, many of them being raised by our customers, and during Open Innovation Workshop at Go Digital.

Speaking of Go Digital and the Open Innovation Workshop, I would like to express my gratitude to everyone involved.

The five most upvoted items were:

  • Reviewer portal, for better government approval
  • Multiple draft versions of the same page
  • Pop-up links or windows of images or link targets, to be able to see the target without leaving the manual location
  • Improved reader search
  • Notifications to be sent when a reviewer has completed a review, and information to be sent to the next reviewer if applicable

What has been done?

This quarter has been focused on building the Summer Release and now we are slowly moving back to larger projects.

The highlights this quarter have been

  • Revision bars added to images and diagrams will now match the height of the added item.
  • Welcome and Forgot password emails will now be resent if the password link expires.
  • Abbreviations with the exact same acronym and description are now prevented.
  • Overflow calculation for pages not using A4 layout will be remarkably better.
  • Abbreviations with the same acronym
  • Short codes and sorting on short codes in reader document overviews
  • Documents can now be locked while awaiting review
  • Signatures in forms
  • Exporting user lists will now include user type and roles
  • Task view will be filtered with pending tasks as default

Focus next quarter will be

MEL editor, Word import Wizard, Media library and improvements to compliance libraries
