“I’ve learned life is a lot like surfing. When you get caught in the impact zone, you need to get right back up, because you never know what’s over the next wave… and if you have faith, anything is possible, anything at all.”
Bethany Hamilton
As we are slowly making our way into the fall of 2020, I’m for one is bracing for what is to come. It seems like this year; we’ve been getting pounded with waves after waves of challenges, one harder than the other to overcome. And if you know the story of Bethany Hamilton, you will also understand why this quote means so much more than just an analogy to waves and surfing.
At Web Manuals, we’ve grown accustomed to seeing our surroundings change, and our “surfing” gets better on every turn we take, and for every wave we catch. We’ve learned to read the ocean better, and a significant part of our success has been wave knowledge! Therefore, we can now give back to the aviation community by offering a freemium campaign for start-ups. We are also recruiting more great people and developing Web Manuals to be ready for the next set of waves.
During Q4, you will see the rollout of Web Manuals 8.0, the future of aviation documentation software. You will be asked to adopt this new way of managing your compliance, content, and document distribution, and I invite you to be open to this change and engage as much as you can with our team to make this transition as smooth as possible. Watch the videos, attend the webinars, and contact your Web Manuals representative. Our wetsuits are on, and we are ready to ride the waves with you.”
As always, thank you for letting me share my thoughts, and before you go about your day, I will leave you with another surf quote and encourage you, if you haven’t already, to find the surfer within you.
“It’s all about where your mind’s at.”
Kelly Slater
