This guide covers the following:

Add a Record of Revisions smart module

Open an empty page of a Web Document.

  1. Click on the page. 
  2. Select Revision Summary. 
  3. When you apply the Record of Revisions module on the page the settings menu is displayed. Choose settings and click Save to create the Revision Summary. 

How to use the Record of Revisions

  • Revision heading text
    Set a custom name for the first column containing the revision name.
  • Revision date heading text
    Set a custom name for the second column containing the revision date.
  • Show name column
    Choose whether or not the revision name column is displayed.
  • Name heading text
    Allows for the alteration of the default heading text.
  • Show comment column
    Choose whether or not the comment column is displayed.
  • Comment heading text
    Allows for the alteration of the default heading text.
  • Show issue column
    Choose whether or not the issue column is displayed.
  • Issue heading text
    Allows for the alteration of the default heading text.
  • Revision
    Lists the name of each revision.
  • Name
    Allows for typing either an alternative of the revision, the name of the responsible person for the revision or anything other content that you may need.
  • Comment
    Allows you to add a comment related to the revision. 

If the module needs to be updated the Update Needed button will be shown. Click on the red button in order to update the module.
